The Tank & Paddle, a popular sports bar in Manchester’s iconic Printworks, recently underwent a major refurbishment featuring a bespoke new floor from JackEvie.

The flooring solution provided was a bespoke engineered plank floor, measuring 15mm thick with a 4mm wear layer. The 150mm wide planks, finished in-house with a brushed surface treatment, enhanced the grain and gave the floor a warm, inviting feel. The new flooring perfectly matched The Tank & Paddle’s suede tan fabrics, exposed brickwork, and retro detailing, balancing contemporary and traditional elements. Additionally, a hardwearing UV oil finish was applied to ensure long-lasting protection and maintain the floor’s appearance.

The installation was meticulously planned to minimise disruption, and the results were transformative.
