The Tynemouth Castle Inn has been a Tyneside icon for more than 80 years, thanks to its commanding position overlooking the sprawling Longsands Beach. Formerly known as The Park Hotel, The Tynemouth Castle Inn underwent an extensive 14-month redevelopment following its takeover by The Inn Collection Group.

As part of the refurbishment, a new JackEvie wood floor was supplied to meet the demands of the venue, which welcomes thousands of visitors each year. Following a consultation with the client and design team, Vardy Lane from JackEvie’s Cannock Chase Collection was selected. Vardy Lane is a rustic-grade engineered oak, which has been mixed brushed and band sawn to give it a textured and authentic wood feel.
