We were asked to manufacture a new herringbone floor for this public house in Tarporlley. The client opted for a traditional solid herringbone block, 300mm in length and 70mm wide, which matched the character and period of the property. Solid wood flooring is a great choice for restaurants because it is durable, easy to clean, and adds a natural warmth and character to the space.

We presented the client with several options for solid wood flooring, including different colours, finishes, and textures, and they ultimately chose a natural grade oak block with tumbled edges and a polished, worn surface texture. When fitted, the floors was sealed with a UV-hardened oil finish to protect the floor from spills and stains while enhancing the natural beauty of the oak wood.

This solid wood floor installation project was a success, thanks to careful planning, attention to detail, and the use of high-quality materials. The venue now has a beautiful and durable flooring option that can withstand heavy foot traffic and occasional spills and stains.
