Nando’s restaurants are renowned for their bold interiors, which reflect the vibrant energy of the brand. For their Northampton location, the design team sought a flooring solution that would add warmth, character, and rustic charm. JackEvie’s Howden, part of the Woodlands Collection, was selected as the ideal choice to bring this vision to life.

Crafted from rustic-grade engineered oak, the new floor was a perfect fit for Nando’s natural and eclectic design style, with the hand-worked surface distressing and tumbled edges further enhancing the floor’s rugged aesthetic. Howden’s planks also showcase an abundance of unique features, including grain markings, streaks, knots, sapwood, and splits of varying sizes. These natural imperfections lend authenticity and warmth to the space, perfectly complementing the vibrant and textured design of the restaurant.

The natural tones of the rustic-grade oak tie seamlessly into the restaurant’s colourful decor, acting as a grounding element that allows the bold artworks and geometric patterns to stand out.
