We were asked to provide a rustic grade floor which included a variety of distressed detailing for this restaurant refurb in Chalfont St Giles.

We worked with the client’s design team on the floor specification, who opted for engineered oak planks with a distressed and brushed surface treatment. By first applying reactive stains which react with the tannins within the oak, we then sympathetically brushed the planks, to enhance the grain and overall appearance. The floor was finished with a matt UV lacquer for extra protection.
